Decoupaged Bottle with handmade paper flowers
Namaste Friends!!
I am Kriti and today I made a decoupaged bottle for our current moodboard challenge using ITD Collections Rice Papers. I hope you all like it.
This is April month's Moodboard and I was inspired the cool shades of blue.
This month our sponsor ITD Collection are generous to send the DT kits with some gorgeous stuffs.
So, here is my photo tutorial...
To prepare the bottle, firstly clean it properly and dry it.
After that, give it two coats of gesso, dry it in between.
Next apply light blue shade of chalk paint with the help of foam dauber. i have given two coats of chalk paint to get a smooth finish.
Now comes the interesting part, take ITD Collections rice papers and cut the area of the paper using scissors that is required.
After cutting the paper, tear the edges like this after applying water at the edges, it will help to blend the paper on to the base.
Give a coat of mod podge and paste the papers onto the bottle. After pasting it, give a coat of mod podge above the paper too.
Now the bottle looks like this. I have used sheep skin shade of chalk paint too at few places just to highlight.
These are some final and close up pics of my decoupaged bottle adorn with handmade paper flowers, hope you all like it.
I hope you all liked it...

Mixed media canvas -- Just to say Hello!!
Namaste!!
I am Kriti this side....and this is what I made....
Here is the gorgeous mood board for the current month of June....
I was inspired the colours of the mood board with lots of white and green and pinch of pink....
So, firstly I took a piece of chipboard and applied two coats of white gesso over it....let it dry completely...
After that, I cut some random pieces of chipboard and pasted over that to give some dimension to the whole project...
Once again, I covered it with white gesso. Next, using texture paste and stencil from Itd collections, I have given more texture to the project...
Now, it was the time to play with the colours....so I had sprayed it with green at most of the places and pink at few places to maintain the colour of the mood board....
The most interesting part.....to embellish my project....I have used the cover sheet of the paper pack,as it has many floral elements and the desired colours(Why to waste the cover...)
So. here is the final composition.....
I have used few things from my stash...to embellish it other than Itd products...with some handmade foam flowers....
Some close- up pics.....
I hope you all liked it....
