Kriti this side...Today I have a card....This card I have made specially for Papericious challenge of this month...i.e., incorporating three or more pattern papers. So, for this project I have used three different papers from Papericious Blush Paper Pack. 

So, here is my project,

The quote is also from the same paper pack. I have adorn this card using my handmade Silk foam flower and Papericious Glass beads.

Purple Silk foam Bloom

Today I'll share my first tutorial on silk foam flower....hope you will enjoy it..

Sharing tutorial for the same...

1. Cut the square pieces of white silk foam as shown in the pic. 9 squares of 4cm and 12 squares of 5 cm.

2. Cut the edges of the squares as shown in the pic.

3. Colour the edges of the petals with soft oil pastels, as shown.

 

 4. Now twist the petals as shown...and open them from the lower end safely and lightly(sometimes it tear, if we put pressure)...leave the upper portion twisted only. Repeat with all the petals.

5. Now paste each three petals like this.

6. Finally they will look like this.

7. Prepare the pollens as shown. and paste each set above this..and your flower will be ready.

Today I am here with a mixed media canvas.

"Treasure these moments as if they were your last", life is busy and full of appointments. Sometimes the greatest moments in life just pass us by because we are too busy to notice them. But, I also know that when I take a deep breathe and remind myself to be present, something magical happens. The moments and the memories they create are like tiny capsules of joy. 

Tutorial:

Firstly, I have taken a 8" X 10" canvas and spread white gesso over it generously.

After that applied Crackle paste using Bubble stencil over the area which I wanted.

Then, sprayed with three shades of spray paints to prepare the background as I wanted, i.e., in the shades of pink, purple and blue.

Arranged the embellishments as shown

Flowers that I have used are silk foam flowers (Enjoy the tutorial for the purple bloom here) and vellum flowers...made by me...

After doing some stamping and adding some glass beads....final project is looking like this..
